DJ NAME & WHERE DID IT COME FROM?: Mr Sheen is my dj name it comes from a school nicname as some of my friends ended up calling me sheen. I used Mr as i didnt think Dj Sheen sounded very good

WHAT STYLE OF MUSIC YOU PLAY: On my show i play liquid drum and bass. I also can play some old skool, breaks ,old garage and i have some happy hardcore knocking about.

CDJ'S OR VINYL WHAT SET UP DO YOU USE:I still use vinyl and will untill i cant get it any more. I use 2x Technics 1210 and an Allen & Heath xone 32 mixer

HOW BIG IS YOUR COLLECTION:As i am not a total geek i have never counted my tunes. I must have about 100 of each kind of music mentioned above apart from Drum ans Bass where my collection starts in 97 all the way untill now I am guessing some where near 1000 tunes if not more

HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN DJING:I bought my first tune in 95 and have been mixing from then so about 13 years

HAVE YOU ALWAYS BEEN MUSICALLY INFLUENCED:Yes as far back as I remember I used to save pocket money to buy albums on tape, as I got older I started to play the guitar. I soon got bored of that and sold my guitar and bought a cheap dj setup. When i wasnt mixing i would have a walkman on listining mix tapes and tape packs from raves, also my neighbour (neil carr) gave me a mix tape he had done i wanted to be able to do one!!

WHY DID YOU START DJING / INSPIRATION, WHAT GAVE YOU THE INITIAL PUSH:As I said ,I sold my guitar, and was itching for something else to do with music. My friends and I discovered mixing, we were all buying tunes from Future World in Camberley (big up dj Mystery). 2 of my mates bought decks and we all used to play on them. If it wasent for them doing that maybe I would not have bought mine about a year later. So would like to big up Sev and Kev for manageing to persuade their parents into buying them decks, if they hadent got theirs i dont think I would be typing this now!!!!!!!!!!

WHAT WAS THE FIRST TUNE YOU EVER BROUGHT: The first record I bought with the intention of mixing was "rushing on pink champaign" on slammin vinyl. My first music I ever bought was "appitite for destruction" by Guns 'n' Roses on tape in 1988 when it came out.

DO YOU PRE PLAN YOUR SETS OR PLAY FOR THE CROWD:I never pre-plan sets although have an idea of what I am going to play.

WHERE HAVE YOU PLAYED:I have mainly played at private partys but have played in motion (embankment London) I have also played in most of the local pubs in my area at one time or another.

IF YOU COULD PLAY ANYWHERE WHERE WOULD IT BE:I would love to play at a big summer outdoor festival. I would also like to play at Fabric in London.

WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE TO UP AND COMING DJS:The main thing to do is pratice. The other thing I would say is buy tunes you like, dont buy/play tunes you dont like just to play out. As then you wont be in to it 100%

HOW DO YOU SEE THE MUSIC SCENE IN 5 YEARS AND WHERE DO YOU SEE YOURSELF IN IT:I think the dance scene will be as it is now with a few new types of music, there will be no vinyl for sale everyone will be playing on cds mp3s and final scratch etc. Hopefully I will still be mixing on radioactive and playing out a lot more.

IF YOU HAD A TIME MACHINE WHAT YEAR WOULD YOU GO TO AND WHY:Think I would go back to 1988 so I could go to all the raves back then!!

WHEN YOU WERE 12 WHAT DID YOU WANT TO BE WHEN YOU GREW UP:I never knew what I wanted to be and still dont.

IF I CAME TO YOUR HOUSE AND WENT IN YOUR FRIDGE WHAT WOULD I FIND:Not much some beer, milk and stuff for my lunch at work.
